Canada’s most populous province is considering dumping its wholesale cannabis-distribution business in favor of a model that allows growers to ship directly to retailers, according to a report from Canada’s BNN Bloomberg.
Though such a move would bring growers one step closer to customers, a transition could prove costly, according to analysts at BMO Capital Markets.
