Last month in this space, we celebrated medical marijuana finally coming to Alabama. After months of false starts, lawsuits and delays, the Alabama Medical Cannabis Commission finally started issuing licenses for medical marijuana growers, distributors, dispensaries and integrated facilities that do some or all of the above.
